28 miles and then a 13.1 mile race

I got up at 3am to do a 28 mile training run before the Laughlin Half-Marathon. The 28 miles went fine. The weather conditions were cool and windy for the half-marathon. I waited 3 minutes after the official start. Then I left the start to pick off as many people as I could. Great race. This should be good prep work for the AR 50 in April.

I'm Almost Back

Coming soon!!!!!!! Coming soon!!!!!!! Coming soon!!!!!!! Coming soon!!!!!!! Coming soon!!!!!!!

I am almost ready to start blogging the miles, training and stories. I have a few more days of rest then I will be back at it.

I have hit bottom and I think it is time to climb out of the pit of hell that is my life. This story is long and complex. I will explain it later. However, for now, it's a few more days of rest then back at it again.

In the months to come I will let you in many truth and lessons I have learned in the past 3 months.

16 miles before the sun was up

3am, 65 degrees and Las Vegas was quiet. it is amazing how quite it was at 3am. Las Vegas is a loud place... but at 3am in the Putnam Wash it was silent!

This was one of those runs where you fels like you could run for hours. However, 3 phone calls, coffee in my water bottle, a gel and 16 miles later it was over. Sad! So sad! There is always Thursday... a brutal 30 miler!

Later...
